Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism, Harrison Thompson said, that while sun, sand, sea and great amenities have a lot to do with a visitor’s choice of destination, human beings at their most basic, seek a warm connection with other human beings. He told the gathering that “no matter how up-to-date a destination may be, if the element of human warmth is missing, it is just a sterile, clinical place that no one will really appreciate”.
